Job Title: Clinician (Full-Time or Part-Time, In-person, Online, or Hybrid)

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Reports To: Clinical Director / Executive Director

Position Summary:

The Counselor provides therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families in alignment with Arise Counseling Center’s mission and standards. This role can be full-time or part-time and involves clinical care, clinical documentation, and collaboration with the Arise team to ensure high-quality, client-centered services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct client assessments, intake evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based counseling services for individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in supervision, professional development, and team meetings.

• Collaborate with other professionals as needed to coordinate client care.

• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with state and professional regulations.

• Promote a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and client-centered counseling environment.

Education and Licensure Requirements:

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, or a related field from an accredited program.

• Eligible for licensure in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW or equivalent).

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Commitment to faith-integrated and culturally sensitive counseling practices.

• Experience with telehealth platforms a plus.

Compensation:

Competitive and commensurate with experience. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available.
